The Mill of the Elves

From late November to early January, the historic Matsopoulos Mill-Park, about 1.5 km from the center of Trikala, transforms into the largest Christmas Theme Park in Greece, full of light, music, flavors, and countless activities for young and old.

But the Mill is not just a theme park. It is a complete experience that transports the visitor to a world of magic and festive atmosphere. At the center of the park stands the House of Santa Claus, where children can meet him up close, whisper their wishes to him and take pictures with him, while at the same time they have the opportunity to participate in many creative workshops and activities. Easy access – Free admission

Access to the park is easy and visitor-friendly. The Mill is a short distance from the city center and can be reached either on foot, by the tourist train, or by the city bus. Admission to the park is free. 

The opening hours are daily from 10:00 in the morning until 22:00 in the evening, offering enough time to explore all corners of the park. It is good to wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes, as the weather in the area in winter can be quite cold. For the safety of young visitors, stickers with contact details of parents are offered in case a child gets lost.
