Tsipouro of Thessaly is a traditional grape pomace distillate, primarily made from varieties cultivated in the region, such as Muscat, and is produced exclusively within the Region of Thessaly. Its production includes vineyard cultivation, fermentation, distillation, and bottling within the designated zone, preserving the product’s traditional character. Tsipouro production in Thessaly has a long history dating back to the 18th century, particularly in the area of Tyrnavos.Even earlier references, originating both from the monasteries of Meteora and from coppersmiths who descended into the wider Thessaly region from Agrafa, place the first distillations around 1600 AD.Opening: Friday, January 16 | 18:00Opening hours: Friday, January 16 & Saturday, January 17, 12:00 – 19:00 ΣΧΕΤΙΚΟΙ ΠΡΟΟΡΙΣΜΟΙOLYMPUS - Thessaly’s Calm Power,PLASTIRAS LAKE - A Man-Made Wonder That Feels Eternal,PELION - A Four Season Dream,METEORA - Between Heaven and Earth,
