Tsipouro & Spirits Festival – Tyrnavos (17–18 October 2026)

Tsipouro & Spirits Festival – Tyrnavos (17–18 October 2026)

Tsipouro and other spirits take centre stage in Tyrnavos on the weekend of 17–18 October 2026. Tyrnavos has been closely associated with vineyards and their products for centuries. The Thessalian town is renowned for its tsipouro (with or without anise), but it should not be forgotten that, according to the prevailing account, it is also the place where ouzo was “born”.

The festival is organised by the Municipality of Tyrnavos, with the support of the Region of Thessaly, the Regional Union of Municipalities of Thessaly and the Larissa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
