VOLOS LENS Photography Exhibition – “Lakes and Lagoons”

‘Volos Lens’, responding to this year’s Nautical Week celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the Heroic Exodus of the Honoured Holy City of Messolonghi, is participating in the events with a photography exhibition entitled “Lakes and Lagoons”. The exhibition focuses on the human element, traditional activities, wetland ecosystems, and the stopover points along the migratory routes of birds—an environment that constitutes a unique world of life in itself.

The exhibition, organized with the support of the cultural organization of the Holy Metropolis of Demetrias and Almyros, “Magniton Kivotos”, will be hosted at the New Passenger Terminal of the Port of Volos from Saturday, June 6, to Sunday, June 13. Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A total of 45 photographers are participating in the exhibition with their works.
