Photography Exhibition “Our Villages…” – Volos (May 16–26, 2026)

A photography exhibition by Volos Lens, aiming to promote tourism in Magnesia, will be held under the auspices of the Region of Thessaly at the New Passenger Terminal at the port of Volos, from May 16 to May 26, 2026.

Photography Exhibition “Our Villages…” – Volos (May 16–26, 2026)

The photography group Volos Lens is a non-profit artistic photography association founded in April 2019 by a group of photography enthusiasts, with the aim of creating a photographic journey in the field of imagery that focuses on the city (as well as the wider area of Magnesia) and its culture, without limitations or boundaries.

The core team and founding members originate from the photography seminars initiated by the distinguished photographer from Volos, Argyris Zafeiridis.

Based in Volos, the founding members aspire to provide a home within their association for the dreams and ambitions of amateur (and professional) photographic artists, and through their activities to contribute significantly to the dissemination and promotion of artistic photography.

The members of Volos Lens would like to thank the Deputy Regional Governor of Magnesia, Anna-Maria Papadimitriou, for the kind invitation, the Volos Port Authority for providing the venue, and the outstanding photographer Theodoros Gavardinas for the poster photograph from 1960s Skopelos.

*Exhibition Opening: Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 19:00
Visiting Hours: 10:00 -13:00 & 18:00-21:00
