It is a celebration of illustration, cultural expression, and independent creativity —an eclectic experience for all ages, connecting the local with the international and the authentic energy of today’s alternative scene.THE OFFICIAL GUESTSMattias AdolfssonSwedish illustrator Mattias Adolfsson holds a master’s degree in graphic design and worked for over a decade in computer games and 3D modelling before turning to illustration in 2007. He was recognized in the comic competition for young talents by the newspaper “9” of Eleftherotypia and has been active as a street artist since 2005. He has won several awards in comic contests and worked as an illustrator for newspapers, magazines, and books. Taxis’ main focus is the human being itself. His artistic signature is recognizable both by the unique way he uses lines in his compositions and by the political elements that can be seen in his works. During his participation at LAComicsFestival, Taxis will create for the first time in Larissa a large mural, leaving his artistic mark on the city, as he has in others around the world, including Belfast (Ireland), Port de Buc (France), Rabat (Morocco), Szczecin (Poland), Brindisi (Italy), Zaragoza (Spain), Lelystad (Netherlands), and Athens.Image Rob SnowRob Snow is an award-winning British illustrator with more than 30 years of professional experience.
