41st Horto Festival – Pelion / The Tickler by Dimitris Baslam

Dimitris Baslam picked up his guitar and decided to set off on a journey. He rearranged and orchestrated The Tickler's music anew, crafting it into a solo performance where he narrates and sings the story. Theaters, schools, town squares, cafés, bars, and festivals are his destinations.

Twenty years have passed since this peculiar bandit first appeared, and to this day he continues to sneak in and steal the bubbling, leftover laughter of children.

"When children share their laughter, everything surely changes."

This is what the children read in the letter when they wake up—and when they later smell the scent, they feel all the joy of sharing, of solidarity, and of a child’s pure intention to make another child feel love, happiness, and comfort.
